Our School Prayer
At St.Thomas' CE School prayer is a very important part to many of our daily transitions.
During collective worship, as well as saying the School Prayer and the Lord's Prayer a class each week takes the lead in prayer and writes their own prayers to say each day.
During worship we encourage everyone, including staff to have a moment of thought, to have that special time with God when they can reflect on the day ahead.
Before lunch each class says a short prayer to show their gratitude:
We join our hands and softly say, thank you God for our food today.
At the end of the day each class says the short prayer of gratitude:
We join our hands and softly say, thank you God for a lovely day.
